BVSN Prasad To Produce A Film With Sharwanad As Hero
Sharwanand who played hero in several super hit films likeRun Raja Run, Mallee Mallee Idi Raani Roju and Express Raja, is again playing the hero while Lavania Tripathi of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Soggade Chinni Nayana-fame for a film to be produced by BVSN Prasad, who had brought out several blockbusters like, ‘Chatrapat, Darling, Attarintiki Daredi and Nannaku Prematho’ with a huge budget. The film would be presented by Bhogavalli Bapineedu and produced on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP. Chandramohan Chintada, an associate of Karunakaran who worked for the movie ‘Darling’, is making his debut as director through this film which is coming up as the Production No. 23. Speaking on the occasion, the producer says, ‘Chandramohan, who worked as an associate director for ‘Darling’ had narrated an interesting subject. Our hero Sharwanand was quite impressed with the story. We too liked the subject. The shooting would be taken up from June 1 and it would be done non-stop and without a break. We will come out with more details about the film very soon. Music is by Ratan and cinematography is by Karthik Ghattamaneni.

Mokshagna To Work Behind The Camera For ‘Satakarni’
Wherever Balakrishna takes
part in shooting, especially during outdoor shoots, he used to be
questioned about his son Mokshagna’s entry into the Tollywood. All the
other contemporary artistes of Balayya including Nagarjunaand Chiranjeevi had introduced their sons to the Tollywood.Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, Ram Charan were

Balakrishna about Mokshagna’s entry into the films. Through the
prestigious 100th movie of Balakrishna ‘Gauthami Putra Satakarni’,
Mokshagna making his entry into the film industry. However, he is not
entering the film industry as a hero, but as an assistant director. So,
he will be behind the camera and not opposite the camera. Balayya feels
that he still needs maturity to make his debut as hero. Ace producer Dil
Raju is bankrolling the movie, while scouting for the heroine slot is
still on. The film based on the legendary Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra
Satakarni. Prominent Bollywood stars including Hema Malini, Kabir Bedi
and others are in the lead cast.

Rajamouli Receives National Award For Best Feature Film For ‘Bahubali’
President Pranab Mukherjee had given away the National Award for Best Feature Film to ‘Bahubali’ and its director SS Rajamouli had received the coveted award. Not only the Best Feature Film award, ‘Bahubali’ had also received the Best Award for Special Effects. Likewise Amitabh Bachchan received the Best Actor (Male) award, while beauty queen Kangana Ranaut bagged the Best Actor (female) award. Likewise, the Best Feature Film for regional languages was given to ‘Kanche’ directed by Krish and he received the award from the President. The 63th National Film Awards function was held at Vignan Bhavan in New Delhi. Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, 78, had been awarded the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award. He was brought in a wheel chair and he got a standing ovation while receiving the award from the President and the venue was reverberated with claps from the participants. He is the 47th recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award. With the bagging the Best Feature Film Award at the National Awards for Films, Rajamouli had enhanced the prestige of the Telugu Cinema to the national level.
